  • Ukrainian Energy Minister stated that oil flows will resume on 10 August if payment for transit arrives.
  • Sulik states that flows through the southern leg of the Druzhba pipeline should resume 'within hours' when the payment is processed.
  • There had been speculation that the halt to oil flows was engineered by the Kremlin as an attempt to further restrain Europe's energy generation abilities at a time when prices are already at multi-decade highs.
