ENERGY: What to Watch: EIA Gas Stocks, ARA Oil Product Stocks & US CPI

- The EIA weekly gas inventories for the week ending Oct. 4 will be released this afternoon at 10:30 ET (15:30BST). The expectation is for a build of 72bcf according to a Bloomberg survey following a build of 55bcf the previous week. The seasonal normal is a build of around 99bcf.
- The updated Insights Global European ARA product inventories will be released today around 15:15BST. Gasoil stocks were last week down to 2.43m mt but still above the five year average of around 2.27m mt while ARA Gasoline stocks were still below normal at 0.97m mt.
- The US CPI data is due at 08:30ET. Consensus sees core CPI at 0.2% M/M in September, although there is sizeable skew toward a higher outcome and our survey of unrounded estimates sees an average 0.26% M/M.
