European Gasoline Flows to US Slip in June

The high pace of European gasoline flows to the US in April/May has eased in June according to Vortexa figures.

  • Volumes across the Atlantic have arrived at around 350,000 bpd – 17% lower than May.
  • April/May flows were driven by spot buying ahead of the summer driving season according to Vortexa analysis.
  • East Coast gasoline stocks have fallen well below seasonal norms but a pick-up in European gasoline demand is expected to keep more barrels for domestic markets in July despite expected US demand.
