POLAND: Far-Right Presidential Candidate Jumps to Second Place in Latest Poll

  • Far-right presidential candidate Slawomir Mentzen moved into second place with 22%, while support for Karol Nawrocki - a candidate of the biggest opposition party Law & Justice - stood at 21%.
  • The survey was carried out on March 7-9 among 1,015 adult Poles with a 3% margin of error.
  • The Polish presidential election will take place on May 18 and if there is a need for a second round, that will take place on June 1.
