Federal Government Now In Charge Of Pemex Debt Amortizations

  • The instruction to Pemex and the Finance Ministry was that the federal govt would be in charge of paying the company's debt amortizations, the state-oil company's CEO Octavio Romero said in an appearance at the lower house.
    • "This is very important because we don't need to concern ourselves with asking for credit to pay off interest rates, amortization of debt or issue bonds to pay off debt that's due," Romero said.
