JGBS

JGB futures have moved back towards their overnight high, but haven’t managed a break there, last dealing +38. Wider cash JGB trade sees the major benchmarks running 1.0-3.5bp richer, with 7s leading the bid owing to the move in futures, while the super-long end has firmed by ~2bp.

  • The reaction to the North Korean missile launch and local adjustments to Monday’s wider market moves are at the fore, with an in line with exp. round of Tokyo CPI data providing no real impetus for the space.
