EQUITIES: Following a somewhat negative open for equities, markets are slowly
but surely turning around, with French, German equity futures now in positive
territory and all other markets trimming losses to move into only minor negative
territory.
- Feed through in currency markets has worked against the USD, with EUR, GBP,
AUD all hitting new highs vs. USD in the past few minutes.
- No headline driver as such, but the pessimistic Asia-Pac open continues to be
reversed. E-mini S&P futures up over 60 points on the overnight lows
