Freeport LNG Completes Repairs, Seeks Restart Approval

The US Freeport LNG terminal completed its repairs and asked US regulators for permission to take steps to restart the facility, it wrote in a filing to US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).

  • The company sought approval "to commence cool down of its Loop 1 transfer piping and reinstate the facility's boil off gas management compressors and associated piping," the filing said.
  • The facility has been offline since 8 Jun.
  • US Natgas FEB 23 up 2.8% at 3.54$/mmbtu
