Gazprom Refining Unaffected by Fuel Export Ban

Gazprom’s refining was not affected by the recent ban on fuel exports in Russia, with volumes in 2023 expected to be similar to last year, according to Interfax citing Gazprom CEO Alexander Dyukov.

  • "No, there were no changes; no overstocking; the usual situation. Refining will correspond to last year's figure. If there are deviations, they will be minor. As for motor fuels, production volumes have actually increased," Dyukov said.
  • "Export shipments of diesel have resumed. As far as Gazprom Neft is concerned, at the moment this is enough to keep our factory capacities occupied," Dyuokv said regarding current restrictions requiring producers in Russia to reserve 50% of production for the domestic market.
