Geopolitical Uncertainty Continues To Drive Choppy Markets

  • Polish equities have experienced elevated volatility in recent months amid Poland’s vulnerability to geopolitical uncertainty.
  • WIG20 index has been oscillating around 2,200 in the past few weeks, finding resistance at its 50DMA (2,245.40); the index has been retracing lower in the past two days after rejecting the 50DMA again yesterday.
  • Next resistance to watch above the 50DMA stands at 2,273.85 (200DMA), followed by 2,294 (100DMA).
  • On the downside, key support stands at 2,103.50, which corresponds to the 38.2% Fibo retracement of the 1,496.80 – 2,478.60 range.
