Germany added 1.406GW of new solar PV capacity in July, up from 1.306GW in June and the highest for any month since January, Bnetza data showed.
- Net solar capacity additions stood at 1.405GW in July with total capacity at 92.393GW at the end of July.
- Onshore wind capacity additions in July also accelerated slightly to 248MW, up from 227.1MW in June and the highest for any month since March.
- Net onshore wind capacity additions stood at 185MW in July with total onshore wind capacity at 61.151GW as of July.
- Offshore wind capacity also increased by 170MW last month, up from 155MW in June. Total offshore wind capacity stood at 9.03GW at the end of July.
