Gilts open lower and pull down other core FI

  • Gilts have followed the weakness seen in Bunds and Treasuries overnight and on the European open and at the time of writing were trading around 75 ticks below Friday's close and have hit a low of 105.03 so far today.
  • The softness around the gilt open has also pulled Bunds and Treasuries lower, and both have hit their intraday lows, too. Bund futures hit a low of 136.92 and TY1 115-23.
