GOLD
GOLD: Gold made a brief showing above $1,475/oz during early Asia trade, when
spill over from the release of the minutes of the RBA's most recent MonPol
decision applied limited weight to U.S. yields. It has been a muted session
outside of that move, which was subsequently unwound, leaving the yellow metal
$2/oz or so lower on the day at ~$1,699/oz.
- Bulls still look for a close above the Nov 14 high after the aforementioned
fleeting look above.
- As a reminder, trade war jitters drove demand for the yellow metal during
Monday's NY session, with participants set to continue focus on Sino-U.S. trade
relations and goings on at the major central banks over the coming sessions.
