Greenback Extends Losses in Asia

The pressure on the USD has moderately extended through this morning trade. A bid in US Equity futures is aiding risk appetite, e-minis are up ~0.3%. BBDXY is down ~0.2%.

  • The antipodeans are both ~0.4% firmer. NZD bulls look to target the NZD/USD 200-Day EMA at $0.6272. The next resistance in AUD/USD is seen at the 50-Day EMA ($0.6771)
  • Yen is also firmer, USD/JPY prints at ¥130.80/90 and has breached yesterday's post FOMC lows. The next downside target is ¥130.54, low from March 20.
  • EUR was the strongest performer in G-10 yesterday, EUR/USD is up ~0.3% this morning. Bulls look to target €1.0911, the 76.4% retracement of the Feb 2 - Mar 15 bear leg.
