Guyana Crude Exports to Soar 55% in Dec

Crude shipments from Guyana are set to hit 516k b/d in December, according to loading programmes seen by Bloomberg.

  • This is up 55% from the 333k forecasted exports in November. January loadings remain unchanged at 16m bbl, Bloomberg said.
  • The boost in shipments is the result of the launch of the Payara Gold exports from the new FPSO Prosperity, which see loadings at 3m bbl in December and 4m bbl in January.
  • Unity gold loadings are set for 8m bbl (258k b/d) in December. This is a rise from the 6m bbl (200k b/d) in November.
  • Loadings of Liza crude are planned at 5m bbl, equivalent to 161k b/d in December. This is up from 4m bbl in November.
