Hammerfest Partial Closure Supportive for TTF

The Norwegian police have highlighted that parts of Hammerfest remain closed. They have not released a further update yet.

  • “Hammerfest : at 1057 it is reported that the leak has been stopped. Parts of the facility still closed. Work is underway on site to find the cause of the leak. Update coming,” they said via X.
  • An Equinor spokesperson said leak was detected just before 10 a.m. and is now stopped, company is working to detect leakage point.
  • The stoppage has been supportive of TTF Tuesday - TTF MAY 24 up 0.7% at 29.51€/MWh
