Inflation Outlook More Moderate Than Foreseen in Most Recent Report, CenBank Says

  • The main trend of inflation was relatively flat in December compared to the previous month, pointing toward a more moderate outlook than foreseen in the most recent inflation report, the central bank said in its assessment of December inflation. The central bank added that half of monthly inflation was due to the food sub-category, while expected wage increases impacted durable good price increases.
