Investment funds net short positions in ICE German power futures ended its short-lived bearish trend to turn slightly bullish, according to the latest COT data for the week of 26 July.

  • • Investment Funds net short position was at -458,955 compared to -529,413 on 19 July.
  • • Investment Firms net long position down -105,413 to +929,584.
  • • Commercial Undertaking net short position was at -712,854 from -511,264.
  • • France Base Power SEP 24 up 2.6% at 55.59 EUR/MWh
  • • Germany Base Power SEP 24 up 0.9% at 82.75 EUR/MWh
  • • EUA DEC 24 up 0.8% at 69.22 EUR/MT
  • • TTF Gas SEP 24 up 1.4% at 35.565 EUR/MWh
