Iran Oil Output Rises to 3.2mbpd: Oil Minister

Iran has increased its crude oil production to 3.2mbpd, compared to 2mbpd when the current administration took office two years ago and the country is seeing further increases, according to Iran’s Oil Minister Javad Owji.

  • Iran is planning to boost production to 3.4mbpd by the end of summer, Owji added. The country’s total production capacity is 3.8mbpd, he added.
  • Iran has exported 2.2mbpd of crude and condensate in the first 20 days of August, TankerTrackers data showed, of which 200kbpd is condensate.
