EURO-DOLLAR
EURO-DOLLAR: It has been a less than auspicious start to the new trading week,
the pair holding a $1.1807 to $1.1830 range. Demand in Euro-yen from Japanese
accounts is providing a modest upside bias. China's Retail Sales,FAI and
Industrial Production (0200GMT), provides the event risk for the session. In
option space, traders have noted a fairly large expiry for today at
$1.1750(E1.23bn), that may act to contain the near-term range. Resistance lies
at $1.1847 (Aug11 high), while hourly support is seen at $1.1807. Euro is
currently changing hands at $1.1825.
