EGB SUMMARY: It has been a quiet afternoon for EGBs. The morning session saw
Bunds move higher on the back of a global risk-off move, largely on the back of
global trade concerns.
- Irish spreads have continued to widen this afternoon, as gilts rally and
sterling sell-off on the back of growing concerns that a hard Brexit is becoming
more of a reality.
- Tomorrow will be a busy day with German inflation and French and Belgian GDP
data. Italy and Germany will send bonds tomorrow while Belgium will sell
T-bills.
- Bund futures are up 0.26 today at 174.47 with 10y Bund yields down -1.8bp at
-0.396% and Schatz yields down -1.2bp at -0.770%.
- BTP futures are up 0.06 today at 139.51 with 10y yields up 0.6bp at 1.570% and
2y yields up 2.2bp at -0.9%.
- OAT futures are up 0.25 today at 166.72 with 10y yields down -1.9bp at -0.143%
and 2y yields down -0.7bp at -0.703%.
