US DATA REACT
US DATA REACT: JPM economist Daniel Silver noted today's Markit "flash PMIs
cooled off a bit between October and November, according to the flash reports
for the month. The headline composite for the Markit manufacturing PMI declined
from 54.6 to 53.8 while the headline for the services PMI, reflecting business
activity, moved down from 55.3 to 54.7."
- Silver added that "within the details of the manufacturing survey, many
components declined modestly, although there was a more significant change in
the supplier deliveries index (which appears to have been influenced by the
recent hurricanes). Details within the services PMI looked more mixed, with
improvement across several measures away from the headline."
