EQUITIES: Just a quick catchup on late NY comments made by noted investor
Stanley Druckenmiller, covered by BBG.
- He suggested that current risk-reward levels in U.S. equities are perhaps the
worst he has ever seen, and labelled the idea of a V-shape economic rebound "a
fantasy."
- He did note that "the wild card here is the Fed can always step up their
(asset) purchases."
- The investor also criticised the recent stimulus enacted in the U.S.,
labelling the measures "anti-capitalist," while suggesting that they will not
build future growth.
- Druckenmiller also believes that the U.S. is likely to see higher taxes and
regulation as we move forward.
