SPAIN: Just a quick recap of what might happen in Spain today and beyond. 
- The government ultimatum at 1000 local time. It is widely assumed that the
Catalans will re-offer dialogue to the central government but no more.
- Spanish debt auctions at 1030 local
- Rajoy is due in Brussels today at around midday.
- Senate is unlikely to approve Art. 155 until the end of the month but this may
be aborted if fresh elections are called by Puigdemont
- El Mundo speculates that with a new government Rajoy could provide the new
Catalan President with a new deadline to present grievances to the government
and even appear in person in the Senate. In this way everything returns to a
legal process.
