Kazakhstan's TCO Output Slips 3.4% y/y

Kazakhstan’s biggest producer, the Chevron led Tengizchevroil (TCO), said its output slipped 3.4% in H1 of 2024 y/y.

  • TCO produced 14.4 million metric tons (114.6 million barrels) of crude in H1.
  • Maintenance is planned at Kazakhstan’s major Kashagan field in October which may last for around 45 days according to the Ministry of Energy speaking with Interfax last week.
  • The impact on production is not clear at present.
