Keystone Pipeline at 50% Capacity

The keystone crude pipeline is operating at around 50% capacity, following a short disruption, according to Bloomberg.

  • The pipeline returned to service Oct. 3 after a short outage the same day.
  • It is currently moving around 0.3m b/d of its 0.6m b/d of capacity, Bloomberg said.
  • The pipeline moves oil from Canadian oil sands to refineries in the US Midwest and Gulf Coast.
