Kremlin-Grain Deal w/Ukraine 'Hardly Feasible'

Wires carrying comments from Kremlin spox Dmitri Peskov. A lot of comments on the Black Sea grain deal, following Russia's suspension of the agreement over the weekend. Peskov states that 'Ukrainian actions have undermined the deal'.

  • Peskov: Black seat grain deal is hardly feasible given that Russia can't guarantee the safety of shipping....The grain deal in that case is risky and not guaranteed'.
  • Does not comment when asked under what circumstances Russia might rejoin the deal.
  • Kremlin says that 'Russia continues contact with Turkey and the UN on the grain deal'. States that the Russian Defence Ministry's statement on attacks on the Russian Black Sea fleet are absolutely credible.
  • Separately, is asked about the alleged hacking of former UK PM Liz Truss' personal phone. Says that 'there is little in the UK media that can be taken seriously'.
