  • Putin's visit to China is likely to come during the third 'Belt and Road Forum' hosted by President Xi Jinping, and will be Putin's first since his visit to Beijing in early Feb 2022 for the Winter Olympic Games, just ahead of the launching of the invasion of Ukraine.
  • RIA also reports that Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan are likely to discuss the recently-cancelled Black Sea Grain Initiative. "[International affairs adviser] Yuri Ushakov said."There is a prospect [of a Putin visit to Turkey], and the fact that during the visit or during the upcoming telephone contacts...issues related to the grain deal will be raised, I think this is quite natural," Ushakov told reporters."
