space in Asia-Pac hours, although there was little in the way of defining news
flow. +ve & -ve headlines surrounding the ongoing issues re: North Korea had
little impact on the space. The regional docket was also ltd after the minutes
from the Fed's most recent MonPol decision failed to move the needle. T-Notes
last +0-00+ at 130-17+, with yields 1.1-2.0bp lower across the curve. As a
reminder, a market source highlighted a 10.0K FVV9 119.00/118.75 Put Strip (+,
+) blocked at 0-23+ with 5.1k FVU9 at 119-05.25. Early in the session there was
small selling of TYU9 131.25 & TYV9 133.50 calls. Eurodollar futures sit unch.
to +0.5 tick thru the reds. 0EU9 98.50 puts saw paper pay 0.0400 on 10.0K, we
saw the exact same trade in the Asia time zone yesterday.
- AU bonds ignored the latest round of flash CBA PMI data, with YM breaking the
lower end of its recent range, before recovering from worst levels on the back
of the light risk-off flows. YM -1.5, XM -0.5. YM/XM sits at 25.0.
- JGBs have stuck to a tight range, with futures +4 ticks and yields marginally
mixed across the curve.
