Little of note to suggests that Mann will change her vote imminently

  • One other thing to highlight from the Mann speech is that she said that her decision to vote for a hike in February was a "finely balanced decision."
  • This is language that had been applied to the wider MPC's view in the Minutes in previous meetings, but was removed in the February Minutes.
  • This is really the only part of the speech (other than where she says her "decision was not easy") that would support the view that she would switch away from voting for hikes at upcoming meetings.
