STOCKS
STOCKS: Little to report for the major regional equity markets, which trade
marginally mixed at writing, even with U.S. equity index futures trading above
their respective Monday highs.
- The largest one-day net injection of liquidity from the PBoC (via OMOs) since
May did little to support the major mainland China equity markets, but the fresh
capital injection did manage to provide some support to the tech heavy ChiNext
(last +~1.0%), and comes in the wake of the recent revisions to restructuring
rules & IPO reform for the index.
- Elsewhere, Japanese markets were closed for a national holiday.
- Hang Seng +0.2%, CSI 300 unch., ASX 200 +0.3%.
- S&P 500 futures +4, DJIA futures +35, NASDAQ 100 futures +17.
