LNG

Power supply to the US Freeport LNG exports terminal in Texas fell by about a third on Friday morning, according to Bloomberg.

  • Feedgas flows to the terminal are today estimated down from just 2.02bcf/d yesterday to 1.991bcf/d today, according to Bloomberg, although the power-meter data suggests as much as one of the three trains at the facility could be down.
  • The decline follows a brief dip earlier this week with a drop in feedgas flows from normal around 1.994bcf/d to 1.76bcf/d on Sept. 10 before recovering the following day.
