Lower Alongside Peers

GILTS

Long end gilts remain wider vs. major European peers during the latest sell off. As noted elsewhere, pricing of EUR issuance helps apply the pressure in recent dealing, with little headline flow observed.

  • Gilt futures last show at worst levels of the day, -30 or so, but still above 100.00.
  • Familiar technical parameters remain untouched.
  • Cash gilt yields are 1-4 bp higher, with 7s under the most pressure.
