Magashule Supporters Call for Him to Withdraw Case vs ANC

SOUTH AFRICA
  • Some members within the Magashule faction are reportedly lobbying for him to withdraw his court case against the ANC and challenge the NPA's charges against him instead with time still left to avoid full conflict with the party.
  • Members of the Ramaphosa faction say there are no good intentions behind Magashule's bid, describing the move as just filibustering.
  • They also claim Magashule is well aware of his actions as he had a bleak future in the ANC, this as the party prepared for a national executive committee (NEC) that was likely to endorse pursuing disciplinary actions against Magashule and some of his allies.
