Marathon Petroleum Restarted Reformer at Galveston Bay Refinery

Marathon Petroleum restarted a rebuilt reformer at its 593kbpd Galveston Bay Refinery in Texas on Thursday and plans to resume production Friday, people familiar with plant operations told Reuters.

  • The 75kbpd UU-3 was shut since a fire broke out on 15 May. The firm said late October the reformer is expected to run normally in late 4Q.
