- Factory orders are expected to rise by 1.5% based on both the Bloomberg
consensus and  MNI survey of analysts after a 0.5% decline in February and a
flat reading in January. 
- Durable goods orders were already reported as up 2.7% on a large aircraft
rebound, while nondurable orders are expected to rise on a further gain in
energy prices.
- Durable goods orders ex. transportation were up 0.4% in March, so barring any
revision to that figure and the expected gain in nondurable goods orders,
factory orders ex transportation should posted another increase in the month.
