MNI BRIEF: Policies To Boost China Car Exports - MOFCOM

MNI (BEIJING)
MNI (Beijing)

China will implement measures to support car exports as the country looks to maintain its strong growth in overseas auto sales this year, according to Shu Jueting, Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) spokesperson.

Car exporters were facing difficulties abroad in areas of logistics security, financial services, and after-sales customer support, but MOFCOM will encourage domestic and foreign financial firms to cooperate with car companies to improve services, while supporting auto manufacturers to improve their international marketing and after-sales care.

Local analysts recently told MNI that China’s car exports are expected to remain strong this year as strong foreign demand and a fierce domestic price war will increase sales abroad. (SEE: MNI: China Car Exports To Remain Strong - Bonds & Currency News | Market News)
