MNI European Morning Briefing

     LONDON (MNI) - A quiet start to the week on Monday with a limited data
calendar and a notable lack of releases from North America due to Columbus Day.
The European economic docket kicks off with German Industrial Production at
0600GMT.
     At 0630GMT the Bank of France Business Survey is scheduled for release.
     At 0900GMT UK Parliament will resit after conference season.
     The OECD Leading Indicator for the Eurozone is scheduled for 1000GMT.
     At 1340GMT the ECB will call for bids in the latest 7-day MRO ahead of
publishing updates of their various purchase programmes (PSPP, CBPP, CSPP and
ABSPP) at 1345GMT.
     At 1600GMT ECB Executive Board member Sabine Lautenschlaeger will deliver a
speech at Hohenheim University, in Stuttgart, Germany.
     During the day ECB President Mario Draghi and Executive Board member Benoit
Coeure will participate in Eurogroup meeting, in Luxembourg.
