  • President Biden will go on the offensive today in Maryland where he will “highlight the impacts of Speaker McCarthy and extreme MAGA House Republicans’ threatened 22% spending cuts."
  • Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen will deliver remarks on U.S.-China Economic Relationship tomorrow at Johns Hopkins University.
  • US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin met with his Swedish counterpart Pal Jonson in Stockholm today and called on Turkey and Hungary to ratify Sweden's NATO bids before the Vilnius NATO summit in mid-July.
  • NSA Jake Sullivan held a call with his Brazilian counterpart yesterday after President Lula appeared to walk back comments on Ukraine.
  • United States Trade Rep Katherine Tai held key meetings in Japan today on supply chains, critical minerals, and the Inflation Reduction Act.
  • Poll of the Day: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) may still have a pathway to the GOP nomination.
