Frequency of reports dies down in the coming week, with just 8% of the S&P500 by market cap due to report. Earnings in the coming week are evenly balanced across the sectors, but tech names will prove the most influential over the index. Thursday is the busiest session of the week.

Earnings season continues to fare well vs. expectations, with the majority of firms beating forecast for both EPS and revenues. So far, financials, real estate and communication services are the strongest sectors, comfortably beating forecast on both EPS and sales. Consumer discretionary and utilities, however, are missing on sales forecasts.
