Nanos Consumer Confidence Consolidates Prior Drop

  • Minimal change in the weekly Nanos consumer confidence measure as it dips 0.2pts to 53.0 in the week to May 27, whilst the share seeing finances as worse off from a year ago increased 0.2pts to 41.3%. Small upside elsewhere with perceptions of job security improving to the highest since mid-April.
  • Such a small change on a weekly indicator unsurprisingly has little market impact.
