Nikkei 225 Applies Light Pressure

The uptick in the Nikkei 225, which has registered fresh YtD/multi-decade highs in the process, has applied some light pressure to JGB futures, with the contract hitting the lunch break 3 ticks below yesterday's settlement levels. Cash JGB trade sees the major benchmark yields print little changed to ~1.0bp richer on the day, after initially benefitting from the flattening witnessed in U.S. Tsys on Monday.
