North Korea Tests Another New Missile

NORTH KOREA

North Korean state media has noted that the state conducted a test-firing of a new type of anti-aircraft missile. The KCNA disclosed the following: "The Academy of Defence Science of the DPRK test-fired an anti-aircraft missile newly developed by it on September 30, aiming at confirming the practicality of operation of the launcher, radar and comprehensive battle command vehicle as well as the comprehensive combat performance of the missile." This is the latest in a string of what appears to have been tests of new weapons over recent weeks.
