Norway Gas: Troll and Kollsnes Start to Return Available Capacity

Norwegian pipeline supplies to Europe are today nominated back up to 264.9mcm/d from 177.6mcm/d yesterday as planned capacity outages due to maintenance at Troll and Kollsnes start to ease.

  • Supply is expected to recovery further in the next couple of days as capacity outages reduce to around 55mcm/d by Friday from nearly 90mcm/d today.
  • Visund field will have a reduced capacity of 16mcm/d from 8 May to 5 June.
  • Gullfaks will have 9.2mcm/d of unavailable capacity from 9 May to 4 June.
  • The Karsto processing facility will reduce capacity by 12.6mcm/d from 19 May to 1 June, 6.6mcm/d from 20-23 May and 17.6mcm/d on 22-23 May and with further outages scheduled in late May.
  • Troll will have a reduced capacity of 46mcm/d on 22-23 May and 24 mcm/d from 23-24 May, and 19 mcm/d from 24-31 May.
  • The Kollsnes processing facility will reduce capacity by 66mcm/d on 22-23 May and 42mcm/d on 23 May to 4 June.
  • Kvitebjørn will have a reduced capacity of 8.5mcm/d on 21-24 May.
