KIWI: NZD/USD has edged higher and last deals at $0.6758 after falling 24 pips
yesterday. The rate operated above the opening levels through yesterday's
Asia-Pac session, but failure to clear $0.6800 entailed a pullback from highs,
extended in the London & NY sessions.
- A topside break above $0.6800, which has been tested multiple times in the
second half of the week, would encourage bulls to target the 100-DMA at $0.6811.
Bears look to the trendline support at $0.6749, which has provided a layer of
technical support for the last couple of days. Below here opens the 200-DMA at
$0.6734.
- NZ focus next week turns to domestic BusinessNZ m'fing PMI due Friday and any
fresh developments in Sino-U.S. trade matters.
