KIWI: NZD/USD last seen at $0.6835, a handful of pips higher on the day, after
adding 26 pips on Monday, with price action tracking broader risk sentiment.
Stronger than exp. NZ retail card spending data might have provided a degree of
support in Monday's Asia-Pac session.
- Bulls now need to clear $0.6853, where the rate peaked on Feb 28, before
challenging the upper 1.0% 10-DMA envelope at $0.6874. On the downside, the
initial target is provided by the 21-DMA at $0.6824, ahead of the 50-DMA, which
is located a further 20 pips below.
- NZ docket this week is headlined by BusinessNZ m'fing PMI due Friday.
