OAT/Bund spread sees further widening through 75bps

BUNDS
  • Given the decent early spike in Bund futures, the 10yr yield gaps lower, and in turn pushes the OAT/Bund spread another 6bbps wider, and making an attempt through 75.00bps.
  • Next resistance in the spread comes at 78.00bps, printed a ~77.98bps high in 2017, so a break to 78bps will represent the widest print since August 2012.

For outright Bund, in Yield terms reference 132.33:

  • 2.4% = 132.48 (May's low, printed 2.399%).
Estoxx (VGM4) has dropped a quick 15 points on the move.
