WTI Holding Gains

OIL

WTI is holding between a range of $73.54/b and $73.88/b, with no significant movement following the press conference with Israeli PM Netanyahu which has appeared to pour cold water on a ceasefire deal or a pause in the fighting.

  • Netanyahu: "We are on our way to that decisive victory. Its in our hands. It's not a matter of weeks but it is a matter of months."
  • Oil had received earlier support from rising gasoline and distillate demand in the EIA data released today. This outweighed above-expectation crude stock builds.
  • Brent APR 24 up 0.7% at 79.12$/bbl
  • WTI MAR 24 up 0.7% at 73.81$/bbl
