Schumacher and dir. in rate strategy Boris Rjavinski eyed the month-end
stocks/bonds buy/sell equation and expected "modest quarter-end pension
activity." They said that "equities outperformed domestic bonds in July with
domestic large cap up about 2.5% and Emerging Markets equity index up as much as
6.5% month-to-date at the pixel time. The broad domestic IG bond index that
often serves as a good proxy for a bulk of pension fixed income portfolios is
