PBF Energy's Toledo Refinery to Complete Works This Week

PBF Energy expects to complete turnarounds on several units at its 180kb/d Toledo refinery, Ohio, by the middle of this week, according to Bloomberg sources.

  • The return to normal operations can take several days or longer following the planned Q1 maintenance on several units for 40-50 days.
  • The 94kb/d CDU and 52kb/d hydrocracker were shut Feb. 28 and 30kb/d catalytic reformer shut on Feb. 29, according to Wood Mackenzie.
  • Toledo processes a slate of light, sweet crudes from Canada, the Mid-continent, the Bakken region and the US Gulf Coast producing a high volume of finished products including gasoline and ultra-low sulfur diesel.
